Adventist Health Rideout is seeking a Peds APP interested in working in a small town located just an hour from Sacramento and two and half hours from Tahoe and the Bay Area. This position is for an experienced physician looking for a rural area that is within a half hour from two larger cities. This is an opportunity to work with trained staff, committed to assisting patients with kindness, diligence, and sensitivity. We are here to serve, educate, and improve our community's health and seek a care provider who has the same mission in our Gridley Clinic located in between Chico, CA and Yuba City, CA.

Position Summary:

If you are looking to truly make an impact in an under-served area, this would be a great opportunity. Spanish bilingual candidates are preferred but not required.

Practitioner will interview patients and construct comprehensive medical histories. Provides appropriate patient education by explaining the diagnosis and treatment plan. Instructs patients about health maintenance and preventive care. Provides continuity of care. Directly performs or orders appropriate diagnostic studies and interprets finished results.

Oversees the maintenance of adequate, concise, legible and up-to-date documentation of patient care. Makes note of problem medical, medication and discharge records, drug allergies, lab orders, subjective and objective data, diagnostic procedures, patient education and treatment.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree: Preferred

Required Licenses/Certifications:

  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required
  • Nurse Practitioner (NP) licensure in state of practice: Required
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in state of practice: Required
  • OR Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in state of practice: Required
