Job description

**Part-Time Catering Specialist**

**Position Type:** Part-Time (Less than 30 hours per week)

**Position Summary**

We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Catering Specialist to support our growing catering business. This role is responsible for preparing catering orders, coordinating timely execution, delivering orders to guests, and providing excellent customer service throughout the catering process. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

**Requirements**

* Must be at least 18 years old

* Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

* Ability to lift and carry catering equipment and food orders

* Strong communication and customer service skills

* Ability to work independently while maintaining strong teamwork with restaurant staff

**Schedule**

* Part-time position with shifts typically scheduled:

* 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

* 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

* Availability for both shift options is preferred

* Additional hours may be available based on catering demand and business needs

**Key Responsibilities**

* Prepare and assemble catering orders accurately and efficiently

* Deliver catering orders safely, professionally, and on time

* Take catering inquiries and orders over the phone

* Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure timely preparation and execution of catering orders

* Review orders for accuracy before delivery

* Set up catering orders at guest locations when required

* Maintain clear communication with guests regarding delivery times and order details

* Assist with inventory and organization of catering supplies

* Uphold Chick-fil-A standards for food safety, cleanliness, and hospitality

* Support restaurant operations as needed during non-catering hours

**Preferred Qualifications**
