Job Description

We are a small, fast-moving marketing team shipping campaigns, content, and events at startup speed. This part-time internship is an opportunity to gain hands-on experience across the full marketing mix of an industrial AI go-to-market team, supporting day-to-day activities that keep the marketing engine running.

This role reports to the Head of Marketing, NexusBlack.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Social Media Planning

  • Help build and maintain the LinkedIn content calendar.
  • Draft post copy, source visuals, and track performance against our content pillars.

Website Launch Support

  • Support the nexusblack.com rebuild by QA-ing pages, uploading assets, and proofreading copy.
  • Track launch tasks against the Phase 1-2 timeline to ensure deadlines are met.

Content Research and AEO

  • Build and maintain a content calendar.
  • Execute first drafts of content pieces using GenAI tools and market research.

Shadowing and Participation

  • Sit in on marketing, product, and sales calls to observe how an industrial AI go-to-market team operates.
  • Take notes, capture action items, and gradually take on a speaking role as you ramp up.

Swag and Event Logistics

  • Own swag inventory and ordering - sourcing items, managing vendors, and tracking shipments to events and customers.
  • Ensure the team is always equipped for conferences and customer engagements.

File and Asset Organisation

  • Keep our SharePoint, shared drives, and campaign folders clean, navigable, and version-controlled.
  • Establish and enforce a folder taxonomy that scales as the team grows.

SharePoint Administration

  • Become the team's go-to person for IFS SharePoint sites - knowing where content lives, building pages, and helping teammates find what they need quickly.

Campaign Updates

  • Post weekly campaign status updates across internal channels (Teams, SharePoint) to keep sales, product, and leadership informed on what is shipping and what is next.
Qualifications

Who You Are:

  • Organised and detail-oriented - you genuinely enjoy structure, naming conventions, and tidy systems.
  • A sharp, concise writer with an eye for detail and brand consistency.
  • Comfortable working in Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook); familiarity with HubSpot, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, or any CMS is a bonus.
  • Curious about B2B marketing, AI, and industrial software - or eager to learn fast.
  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an undergraduate programme in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or a related field.
