This role is going to be based only in our 4910 Tiedeman office.
Job Summary
The Data Governance & Enablement Analyst is an entry-level role that provides foundational support for data governance operations. This role assists with documentation, reporting, and coordination of governance activities, helping to ensure data integrity and compliance across the organization. This role will specifically support Change Management and employee engagement activities.
Essential Functions
  • Support Change Management, including managing projects and developing communications and training, and assist with Employee Engagement events and activities.
  • Maintain and assist with tracking updates of data and analytics governance documentation, including standards, procedures, controls, job aides, and training.
  • Support data quality assessments, observation/issue logging, and remediation coordination.
  • Assist and/or owns development, enhancement, execution, and testing of governance related controls
  • Help prepare reports and dashboards for governance metrics and executive updates.
  • Assist in stakeholder communications, meeting logistics, and governance forums.
  • Contribute to metadata cataloging, data lineage mapping, and stewardship documentation.
  • Participate in training sessions and workshops to build understanding of governance principles.
  • Collaborate with seniors and leads to support governance initiatives and special projects.
  • Research industry trends and contribute to continuous improvement efforts."
  • Performs other duties as assigned; duties, responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice
  • Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures, including without limitation, acting professionally at all times, conducting business ethically, avoiding conflicts of interest, and acting in the best interests of Key's clients and Key.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
  • OR equivalent experience (required)

Work Experience
  • 1+ years experience in data governance, analytics, or related fields. (required)

Physical Demands
  • General Office - Prolonged sitting, ability to communicate face to face in person or on the phone with teammates and clients, frequent use of PC/laptop, occasional lifting/pushing/pulling of backpacks, computer bags up to 10 lbs.

Travel
  • Occasional travel to include overnight stay.

Driving Requirements
  • Ability to occasionally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver's license.

Work Location Category
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $71,000.00 - $125,000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors, including but not limited to skills, experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production, commission, and/or discretionary incentives.
