Knowledge/Skills/Competencies

In-depth knowledge and understanding of global supply chain management, distribution methods, and global transportation services and inventory management.
Knowledge of import / export, regulatory policies
Experience managing logistics operations from freight management and working with multi-carriers in various modes (courier, Freight Forwarder, AIR, Ocean, Ground)
Experience of incoterms and logistics pricing and cost analysis
Good understanding of IT concepts and integrated business applications.
Excellent analytical, negotiation and problem resolution skills
Strong communication and presentation skills
Ability to resolve complex issues & problems internally and externally
Significant skills required in multi-tasking and time management
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a wide variety of internal and external customers.

Good knowledge of an electronics manufacturing environment, material and processes.

Experience

The ideal candidate will have +10 years experience in logistics management and operations with knowledge in inventory management, freight costing, understanding of global logistics operations, and experience in managing and working directly with third partly logistics service providers.
Logistics experience in International and regional transportation, warehouse management and understanding of key concepts of trade compliance.
Working experience and knowledge in electronics manufacturing, supply chain, inventory and order management is an asset.

Education

Bachelor's degree in related field, or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Demands

Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
Duties of this position require continuous light physical effort and exertion including prolonged repetitive motion, standing, sitting in a confined work space.
