Your role at Clorox:

As Logistics Manager, you will own the end-to-end flow of materials, ingredients, packaging, and finished goods across Clorox Hidden Valley Ranch plant and off-site warehouse network.
This is a leadership role for someone passionate about building the capabilities of their 50 team members striving for a high-performing team, ensuring safe, accurate, and cost-effective logistics execution every day.
You will serve as a key member of the plant leadership team, partnering closely with Production, Quality, Safety, Planning, Finance, and external logistics partners to protect service, inventory accuracy, food safety, and operational performance. The right candidate will be energized to join our Hidden Valley Ranch manufacturing team.
What Makes This Role Exciting
You will lead people, systems, inventory, compliance, and external partner performance-not just one narrow slice of logistics.
You will be a key voice on the plant leadership team, helping shape priorities, solve complex problems, and build standards for the site.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead daily logistics execution across material handling, storage, internal movement, warehousing, shipping, receiving, and finished goods flow to support reliable production and customer service.

  • Build and develop a strong logistics team operating across a 24/7, multi-shift environment and multiple site locations, with clear expectations for safety, quality, accountability, and performance.

  • Own SAP EWM and SAP S/4 logistics execution as the plant systems expert and super user, including queue management, error resolution, new item setup, inventory transactions, and escalation with IT when needed. Develop the capabilities of your central Logistics leads to execute within our new operating system.

  • Drive world-class inventory accuracy through cycle counting, inventory adjustments, scrap reporting, off-site warehouse controls, and strong inventory management processes.

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, including scheduled inbounds, receiving compliance, Direct Outbound Delivery Order execution, dedicated fleet performance, hostling performance, BOL accuracy, and on-time delivery expectations.

  • Partner with Planning, Production, and Corporate Supply Chain to ensure the site has the ingredients, packaging, components, and finished goods movement required to run without avoidable downtime.

  • Protect food safety, quality, and regulatory compliance by ensuring proper handling, storage, traceability, record retention, BRCGS/GFSI expectations, FDA requirements, Food Defense practices, and cross-contamination controls.

  • Own department performance and budgets, including labor planning, recruiting and hiring partnership with HR/ER, KPI management, vendor performance, and disciplined budget stewardship.

  • Lead continuous improvement by participating in or leading plant and centrally sponsored cost, service, safety, quality, and performance improvement projects.

  • Serve as a visible senior leader who communicates clearly, removes barriers for the team, escalates issues with urgency, and builds a culture rooted in safety, ownership, and continuous improvement.

What we look for:

  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles in supply chain, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing operations, planning, or related fields.

  • At least 2 years of leadership experience, ideally leading logistics, warehouse, material handling, production support, or multi-shift operations teams.

  • Strong working knowledge of SAP EWM, SAP S/4 (must-have).

  • Experience in inventory control, cycle counting, material movements, receiving, shipping, and warehouse execution processes.

  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams, coach team members, set clear expectations, and create a culture of accountability and engagement.

  • Experience partnering across Production, Quality, Safety, Planning, Finance, HR/ER, IT, and external logistics partners to solve operational problems.

  • Strong understanding of safety, food safety, regulatory compliance, traceability, inventory accuracy, and record retention expectations in a manufacturing environment.

  • Ability to diagnose operational issues, use data and systems to identify root causes, and drive timely resolution with clear communication and escalation.

  • Experience managing budgets, vendors, labor planning, staffing needs, and operational KPIs.

  • Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to participate in or lead site performance, cost, safety, quality, and service improvement projects.

  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to influence, align stakeholders, and provide updates to plant and supply chain leaders.

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
