Job description

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal transportation vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a Logistics team that aims to deliver quality products in a timely, cost-effective manner.
  • Optimize use of all available resources by ensuring trailers and containers are cubed efficiently by coordinating available backhauls of used vehicles.
  • Ensure on-time and complete deliveries and communicate shipment activity to internal and external customers.
  • Route inbound and outbound shipments to maximize freight revenue and cost savings.
  • Create and interpret reports that outline the status of inbound and outbound freight.
  • Coordinate schedules and shipment preparation with operations and shipping personnel.
  • Review and approve freight invoices for shipments.
  • Assist operations with finished goods inventory accuracy and analysis.
  • Assist Logistics team members with daily tasks as needed; to include, but are not limited to: load building, invoicing, and customer support. 
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business management, logistics, finance, or another related field required
  • Years of Experience: 5 or more years of experience, experience working in manufacturing support areas preferred
  • Software Knowledge: Microsoft office suite and SAP requirred
