Job Description:
General Responsibilities:
Lead the following Sales Contract Management activities:
  • Complete the training to become an expert user in the Astemo Contract Review System
  • Complete training to access and download customer production contracts from online portals
  • Receive customer production contracts from sales account managers
  • Initiate the contract review process
  • Follow up with account managers to complete contract reviews within specified time periods
  • Work with plant sites to ensure pricing they use is the official approved pricing
  • Prepare training materials and administer training to the sales department for new sales account managers in use and participation of Contract Review System
  • Set up and ongoing maintenance of customer tool asset management information database
  • Ongoing follow-up with account managers, procurement, and design engineering to support tooling order invoice readiness tasks
  • Generate monthly contract status and tooling status reports

Lead the following Price Maintenance activities:
  • Update product pricing in ERP system throughout the month
  • Download and utilize pricing reports from ERP system
  • Verify all entered pricing is approved and on contract
  • Work with sales account managers, accounting, and production planning to confirm pricing effective dates, part numbers and shipment status
  • Enter pricing for production and prototype contracts that have been approved in the Contract Management System
  • Ensure all products have pricing entered in ERP system at month end closing
  • Support evidence requests for internal and external audits

Lead the following Prototype Order Management activities:
  • Complete the training to become an expert user of the Astemo Prototype Tracking System (PTS)
  • Complete training necessary to access and download prototype orders via customer portals
  • Update prototype delivery status information on customer portals as necessary
  • Work with the sales account managers and design engineering (as necessary) to initiate internal prototype orders
  • Follow up with the plant sites, program management, sales, and design engineering to ensure orders are received and being managed to meet required delivery dates
  • Update prototype order status within the PTS system and upload all necessary reference files
  • Work with shipping/receiving to ensure orders are properly received in and appropriate forms are used
  • Initiate purchase orders to Astemo sites as necessary
  • Ensure drop ship orders from Astemo overseas sites are properly managed with appropriate documents
  • Prepare training materials and administer training to the sales department for new sales account managers in use and participation of Prototype Tracking System

Additional Responsibilities
  • Support accounting during quarterly inventory reviews
  • Complete training to use Astemo Salesforce Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System
  • Download customer scorecard reports and distribute internally
  • Initiate continuous improvement actions that lead to process improvement and metrics gain

Qualifications
Job Requirements:
  • Business or database management/analysis experience preferred
  • ERP system experience or knowledge is preferred
  • Must be detail oriented to maintain accuracy in the data you will manage
  • Must be proactive in avoiding issues and recommending solutions
  • Excellent planning and organization skills are a must
  • Must be able to lead activities as well as support as an effective team member
  • Proficient in the use of EXCEL and have some experience with Powerpoint

Education: Bachelor's in business administration (BSBA or BBA) or related business degree
Experience: Experience working in the automotive industry through internships or summer jobs is preferred.
Job level determined by various factors such as organization size, responsibility, career stage, and capabilities.
