Job description

Corporate Live, Inc. has been creating amazing live events for a diverse roster of entertainment, non-profit, corporate, political, and academic clients for over 30 years.  
 
We are looking for a seasoned Audio-Visual Engineer / Production Manager with expertise in Video Engineering.  If you have 5 years of proven and verifiable work experience as a project manager in the audio-visual industry, we want to talk to you! 
 
Basic Function
The PM is responsible for all production elements involved within a live event production.  They work closely with the client to assess needs and vision; create and or collaborates on all designs; schedules equipment, assigns personnel, and executes all production elements of a live event.  The AV Engineer / PM is responsible for each project from the order stage through final project completion.  The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background as it relates to event production.
 
Essential Functions:
·         Responsible for coordinating setup and operation of all aspects of multi-media events/projects.
·         Takes leadership role regarding customer communications for event. 
·         Responsible for working with estimating personnel to ensure competitive and accurate proposal to customer.
·         Assists in estimating event needs by participating in site-surveys as needed.
·         Responsible for coordinating equipment required for events.
·         Responsible for bringing the event on budget.
·         Works directly with customers to establish project timeline.
·         Responsible for communicating project progress to Director of Live Events, support,  and technical staff.
·         Responsible for scheduling company technical staff and any associated subcontractors.
·         Manages and coordinates all personnel on jobsite.
·         Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
 
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the live event production industry. Supervisory experience is a strong plus.
 
Working Knowledge: Must possess excellent technical knowledge in video, audio, lighting, staging, rigging, and design. Strong consideration given to individuals with advanced video expertise. A candidate with the ability to create CAD designs with a keen sense seamlessly integrating all aspects of a multimedia event would be preferred.  
 
Licenses and Certifications: Extra consideration will be given to candidates with a Class B commercial driver’s license or willing and able to obtain one.  
 
Travel:
Occasional out of town travel will be required.
