The Operations Support Coordinator is a hands-on role responsible for supporting field operations and yard logistics. This position plays a key role in daily coordination of truck dispatch, chemical inventory, equipment loading/unloading, and warehouse organization. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of logistics and warehousing, with the ability to operate a forklift and manage multiple moving parts in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
Dispatching & Logistics:
  • Communicate with drivers and field personnel to ensure accurate and timely deliveries.

Warehouse & Yard Operations:
  • Load and unload trucks using a forklift and other equipment.
  • Consolidate totes and stage chemicals for upcoming jobs.
  • Place and organize chemicals in designated storage areas in compliance with safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly yard and warehouse area.

Inventory & Documentation:
  • Perform regular inventory counts and track chemical and equipment usage.
  • Assist with receiving shipments and updating inventory management systems.
  • Generate and maintain documentation for shipments, job orders, and inventory transactions.

Operational Support:
  • Collaborate with operations and field teams to support job prep and post-job reconciliation.
  • Ensure safety procedures are followed during all handling and storage activities.
  • Provide administrative and hands-on support to improve overall operational efficiency.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED required; additional technical or logistics training preferred.
  • 2+ years of operations, warehouse, or logistics experience in oil & gas, chemical, or industrial settings.
  • A clean driving record is required for transporting mixing plants and small hot shot loads in urgent situations.
  • Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain).
  • Experience with truck dispatching, shipping/receiving, and inventory control.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with inventory or dispatch software is a plus.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in warehouse/yard environments.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious.
