CDS Logistics & Home Services is seeking a dynamic professional to provide operational and administrative support across our Florida Delivery Operations. The Florida Operations Support Coordinator supports daily final mile logistics operations across all three Florida facilities, with a focus on driver communication, manifest compliance, inbound scheduling, reporting, and safety support. This role helps ensure strong operational visibility, timely communication, and high customer satisfaction.
Florida Operations Support Coordinator
In this role, you will support the coordination and flow of driver communication, paperwork, inbound scheduling, compliance monitoring, and operational reporting across the Florida facilities. This position is critical in helping Operations Managers identify and resolve issues, support drivers in the field, and maintain company and customer expectations. Success in this role requires strong organization, attention to detail, urgency, computer literacy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple locations. A successful applicant will be able to:
  • Perform quality work within deadlines
  • Interact and communicate professionally with internal teams, drivers, and external customer groups
  • Prioritize daily tasks while supporting operational goals across multiple facilities
  • Work independently while communicating and coordinating with Operations Managers, facility teams, drivers, and customer service

Essential Job Functions:
Driver Manifest Packet Preparation
  • Prepare and organize driver manifest packets prior to route execution.
  • Ensure all required documentation is included and accurate.
  • Support drivers by ensuring they have the information needed to complete routes successfully.

Driver Communication & Support - Florida Facilities
  • Monitor driver communication channels for all three Florida docks.
  • Provide timely support and guidance on driver questions, delivery issues, and operational concerns.
  • Escalate issues to the appropriate Operations Manager when needed.
  • Maintain clear communication between drivers and facility teams.

Tampa Inbound Schedule Management
  • Monitor Tampa inbound schedules through inbound request emails and the SMART system for AWC inbound activity.
  • Maintain visibility of expected inbound shipments.
  • Communicate updates or concerns to appropriate teams.

Driver Scorecard Review & Performance Reporting
  • Review driver scorecards and identify areas requiring improvement.
  • Analyze performance trends and opportunities for coaching.
  • Provide scorecard breakdowns to Operations Managers across all three Florida facilities.
  • Support leadership with driver performance improvement initiatives.

Driver Manifest Compliance Monitoring
  • Monitor driver manifest status across all three Florida docks.
  • Review key compliance metrics, including on-time performance, customer pre-call completion, scanning compliance, and Proof of Delivery (POD) capture.
  • Identify missing or incomplete requirements.
  • Communicate gaps to the appropriate facility or work directly with drivers to resolve issues.

Samsara Driver Monitoring & Safety Support
  • Monitor Samsara driver activity and identify coachable events.
  • Review safety-related incidents and operational concerns.
  • Provide findings to the appropriate Operations Manager for follow-up and coaching.
  • Support continuous improvement of driver safety and compliance.

Key Performance Expectations
  • Maintain accurate operational visibility across all Florida facilities.
  • Ensure timely communication between drivers and operations teams.
  • Improve driver compliance with company processes and customer expectations.
  • Support reduction of delivery issues through proactive monitoring and coaching.
  • Provide accurate reporting and actionable insights to Operations Leadership.
  • This role requires strong organization, communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across multiple facilities.
