We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as a Security Operations Supervisor. This position is crucial in ensuring the safety and security of our clients' property through visible presence, proactive enforcement of security protocols, and the appropriate use of firearms, if applicable. You will be entrusted with a significant responsibility, and we are looking for a candidate who demonstrates exceptional professionalism, integrity, and commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.

To excel in this role, a Security Operations Supervisor must remain highly alert and maintain a professional demeanor. It is important to be able to maintain a calm disposition during intense situations, be able to make appropriate decisions, and communicate with skills reflecting strong verbal de-escalation and customer service.


Scheduling:

  • Open Shift Availability required
  • Full-Time Schedule
  • Training period salary $41,000/year in the first two months (training period); automatically increases to $46,000/year upon completion of training period.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Job responsibilities change dependent upon site/venue
  • Creating guards schedules for your designated site
  • Finding coverage for call-ins
  • Ensuring work is done correctly and meeting organizational standards
  • Uphold and maintain all site procedures and standards
  • Remain vigilant to maintain site safety
  • Swiftly address any violations/trespassing
  • Utilize excellent customer service skills
  • Communicate rules effectively as needed
  • Communicate with police and/or other staff members appropriately
  • Should be familiar with company rules, safety regulations, and operational procedures to ensure that the team is following the correctย protocols.

Requirements

  • Prior security experience is preferred
  • Prior management experience is preferred
  • Valid Michigan Concealed Pistol License is preferred
  • Flexible availability
  • Must be 18 years of age
  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Background checks are required (Felonies and certain misdemeanors disqualify)
  • Drug screen required
  • Ability to maintain focus and strong attention to detail
  • Must be able to sit/stand or walk for extended periods of time
  • Must maintain professional appearance and uphold company standards of behavior
  • Reliable transportation is necessary
