Job description

The Personnel Consulting Group is looking for a Division Manager for a long time client of ours in the Baton Rouge area. The Division Manager provides strategic, operational, and financial leadership for multidisciplinary divisions spanning engineering, surveying, and land development. This role is responsible for driving divisional performance, project execution, team growth, and business expansion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operations & Strategy: Lead divisional planning, manage operational budgets, forecast resources, and align daily activities with corporate goals.
  • Project Oversight: Ensure high-quality project delivery on schedule, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, mentor, and manage multidisciplinary staff, fostering a culture of accountability and professional growth.
  • Client & Business Development: Serve as the primary contact for key client accounts, lead proposal efforts, and identify new market opportunities.
  • Compliance & Collaboration: Partner across departments to optimize workflows, uphold industry regulations, and maintain quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelorโ€™s degree in Civil Engineering, Surveying, Landscape Architecture, Business Management, or a related field (PE, PLS, PLA, or Masterโ€™s degree preferred).
  • Experience: 10+ years in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry, including 3โ€“5 years in a senior leadership or division management role.
  • Technical & Soft Skills: Deep knowledge of AEC project delivery, budgeting, client relations, team leadership, and project management software.
