Job Summary

Divisional Operations Controller - Commissary & Regional Finance Support 

Position Summary:

The Divisional Operations Controller is responsible for overseeing financial operations for a high-volume commissary operation in the Dallas market while supporting broader regional finance initiatives across the East region. This role combines on-site financial ownership with regional leadership support responsibilities including training, forecasting, budgeting, auditing, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee commissary financial operations including inventory, production costs, transfers, and revenue tracking
  • Lead monthly close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and monthly forecasts
  • Perform financial analysis and provide actionable insights to operations leadership
  • Lead training and onboarding for Controllers and GMs across the region
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and support audits and internal control reviews
  • Drive system accuracy and reporting consistency across platforms
  • Support Regional Controller with various projects
  • Supporting Texas and Arkansas
  • Travel 25% - 30%
Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5-8+ years of experience in finance, accounting, or operations finance
  • Experience in foodservice, hospitality, or commissary operations preferred
  • Strong experience in financial reporting, forecasting, and budgeting
  • Proven ability to lead training and support multi-unit operations

  • Strong accounting and financial reporting knowledge
  • Advanced Excel and financial systems expertise
  • Operational finance and cost control understanding
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to translate financial data into operational insights
