Summary: The Center Operations Coordinator is responsible for administrative supervision of all levels of ABA Therapists on assigned teams at the Verbal Beginnings Center. Center Operations Coordinators serve as ongoing support, a resource and mentor to foster professional and personal development of all levels of ABATs. Center Operations Coordinators work collaboratively with administrative staff and all clinical staff at Verbal Beginnings, while living out our Pledge of Care and VB Pack Values: Passion, Accountability, Celebration & Kindness.

Responsibilities
As an Operations Coordinator, you will:
  • Review direct reports' appointments daily to ensure accurate times, clients, and immediate conversions of sessions
  • Conduct regular touchpoints with all direct reports
  • Coordinate coverage across teams, as needed
  • Serve as a company culture ambassador; Promote, encourage and engage in company values
  • Collaborate with Office Coordinators to host monthly staff-facing and family-facing events
  • Collaborate with other Center Operations Coordinators, and administrative staff to enhance effective day-to-day running of Center operations
  • Receive all day-of callouts, notify necessary team members, conduct midday therapist check-ins for callouts
  • Timesheet oversight for all staff on assigned teams
  • Ensure all direct reports remain in compliance with applicable certifications
  • Provide oversight of therapist office hours to ensure productivity (e.g, current LMS, Case Management tasks, etc.)
  • Develop and participate in employee engagement activities across teams
  • Support preparation of performance evaluations and feedback for all staff under their direct supervision according to VBC policies and procedures
  • Comply with and uphold all company policies as outlined in the Employment Handbook, Center Operations Coordinator Manual, and Center Policies documents.

Qualifications
About You:
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 1 year previous supervisory experience of large teams in the human services field
  • Basic knowledge and previous experience with incident prevention and management with regard to workplace safety
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to motivate and guide a clinical team
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of individuals with ASD and ABA therapy preferred

  1. Regularly required to perform activities such as reaching, grasping, walking briskly or running, sitting on the floor, kneeling, crouching, ascending and descending stairs, and transitioning quickly between standing, sitting, and other positions (e.g., floor, chair, or other surfaces) throughout the day.
  2. Ability to interact effectively by speaking clearly, using age-appropriate language, and observing and maintaining attention through verbal and non-verbal communication
  3. Successful completion of Safety Care training and Re-Certifications, which includes carrying children per Safety Care training. Active participation in Safety Care is a condition of employment.

This position requires occasional travel for office needs. The employee must maintain reliable personal transportation as well as a valid driver's license and car insurance at all times.
