Description

Double E Group is an international market leader in the engineering and manufacturing of web handling, material handling, and converting solutions. Our broad portfolio of products is marketed to the paper, tissue, film and foil converting industries.


The General Operations Support individual assists workers engaged in fabricating, assembling, and processing materials, parts, and assemblies. This individual will also load/unload trucks, build skids, crates, and package equipment for shipment.


Responsibilities

  • Assist in the Machine Shop
  • Building of skids, crates and packaging of equipment for shipment
  • Loading and unloading of trucks
  • Putting materials in proper location(s)
  • Perform cycle counts, as well as assist in receiving parts and putting them in the proper location(s)
  • Deburr and sand machined parts
  • Use of the saw to cut raw materials, as needed
  • Moving and/or installing equipment or furniture
  • General facility and equipment, preventative maintenance and repair
  • Work with outside contractors as required
  • Assure the operation and continuous improvement of plant's security, safety and housekeeping
  • Assist with snow removal around facility entrances and loading dock(s)
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to operate a forklift - Existing forklift certification ideal
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with multiple departments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and be detail oriented
  • Team player, energetic and willingness to help where needed


Education and Experience

  • Previous Machine Shop experience preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent
