Mission of role

The Operations Administrator supports the operations function by conducting administrative duties for operations and engineering, entering data and running reports, monitoring inventory, maintaining the plantโ€™s written policies and procedures, maintaining the plant's safety policies and procedures, and coordinating tasks with different departments.

Functions and Responsibilities

  • Collects and inputs daily production data into reports.
  • Creates and modifies data recording forms for production, sanitation, maintenance, and shipping.
  • Provides information regarding inventory and waste to senior management.
  • Coordinates paperwork regarding electronic receiving. Ex: UAL meters
  • Enters purchase orders into computer system.
  • Produce and distribute customer diagrams & meal counts to relevant departments.
  • Ensure that the flow of paperwork is consistent and completed within specific deadline requirements.
  • Communicate all updates and changes to department and other departments as required.
  • Collating hours and expenditure costs and from operations unit. Conduct flight and wastage analysis reports. Produce report/presentation slides for senior management meeting on a weekly, monthly and daily basis.
  • Produce minutes for daily OPS meeting, weekly management meeting and distribute to attendees.
  • To promote interactive working relationships both throughout the site and with external departments or contacts, in order to ensure that operating procedures are performed smoothly and have a positive impact on customer service and productivity.
  • Collate the payroll for operations (overtime), annual leave and sickness data and report to line manager and senior manager.
  • To ensure company procedures are being adhered to at all times to proactively prevent accidents and eliminates hazards by ensuring that the Company policy, Health and Safety standards and standards of housekeeping are followed at all times across the site.
  • To undertake such other duties as the management may from time to time reasonably require.

Qualifications & Educational Requirements

  • 2 + years of experience in the food manufacturing industry preferably in airline catering.
  • Proficient computer skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet).

  • Excellent communication and listening skills; self-starter and determined; able to work weekends, nights, and holidays; on time; positive attitude; and works well with others.
  • Dependable, reliable, and a team player.
  • Multitasking & above-average data entry skills.
