Waterpark Operation Manager
Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Operation Manager. In this role, you will be accountable for the administration, operation, and direct management necessary to achieve stated objectives in guest/associate safety, sanitation/cleanliness, equipment safety/repairs, sales/profitability, costs, employee retention, and guest service satisfaction of all Resort venues located in the indoor and outdoor waterpark.
As part of our leadership team, you'll embody our Promise to Lead with Love-guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You'll ensure that all guests feel welcome and safe and are given responsive, friendly, and courteous service always.

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all waterpark associates' recruiting, selecting, hiring, orienting, and training, assigning, scheduling, evaluating, supervising performance and carrying out disciplinary action as needed in accordance with Kalahari policies, procedures and applicable laws.
  • Oversee cost controls and labor scheduling for all aspects of waterpark operations, to optimize safety, service standards and maximize profitability.
  • Assist with Kalahari waterparks' plan, strategies, actions and executing them effectively with waterpark associates.
  • Oversee all operations within the waterpark venues.
  • Ensure lifeguards and EMT's are performing to the standards set forth by Kalahari certifying agency and management team.

What We're Looking For
  • Star Guard Lifeguard Certification, Star Guard Instructor Certification, and Certified Pool Operator Certification
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in management, waterpark or aquatics departments with progressive managerial and leadership responsibilities required.
  • A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
