Salary: $50,000 – $65,000 per year (based on experience)

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Operations Manager to oversee daily operations and drive efficiency, profitability, and team performance. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at problem-solving, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.

This position plays a critical role in managing crews, coordinating logistics, maintaining compliance, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee daily field operations and scheduling
  2. Manage dispatch, routing, and job assignments
  3. Supervise and develop team members, including crew leaders and office staff
  4. Monitor KPIs, labor costs, and job profitability
  5. Ensure compliance with DOT, DMV, and company policies
  6. Maintain fleet, equipment, and inventory oversight
  7. Handle customer escalations and ensure high satisfaction ratings
  8. Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to optimize scheduling and revenue
  9. Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
  10. Assist with hiring, onboarding, and performance management
Qualifications
  1. 3+ years of operations or logistics management experience (moving industry preferred)
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills
  3. Experience with scheduling software and CRM systems
  4. Knowledge of DOT regulations and fleet management (preferred)
  5. Excellent communication and organizational skills
  6. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  7. Valid driver’s license required
Preferred Skills
  1. Experience in the moving, transportation, or home services industry
  2. Budget management experience
  3. Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus
