Position Overview
We are seeking a highly capable Operations Manager to support corporate operations within a growing IT federal contracting firm. This is a high-impact, high-visibility role designed for a business-minded, strategic thinker who can contribute immediately.
To be successful in this role, candidates must be self-starters who thrive in fast-paced environments, can manage competing priorities, and operates with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
You will oversee and support operations across multiple departments, manage a team of approximately 15-20 employees, and partner directly with executive leadership to ensure business continuity, efficiency, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee day-to-day corporate operations across multiple functional areas (HR, recruiting, admin, and internal operations)
  • Manage, coach, and hold accountable a team of 15-20 employees across departments
  • Serve as a central point of coordination between departments and executive leadership
  • Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks, and implement practical solutions
  • Support execution of strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Monitor workflows, deliverables, and deadlines to ensure timely and high-quality output
  • Step in as needed to support critical or high-priority tasks during peak periods or transitions
  • Drive process improvement and standardization across teams
