Job Description

In this role, you will be part of a welcoming and supportive environment for students, faculty, staff, and members of the surrounding community. You will have the opportunity to assist patrons with using library resources and services while helping to ensure the smooth operation of the library during weekend hours and some weekdays.
Responsibilities include performing circulation routines at the Front Desk; managing the library's audiovisual collection; shelving and tidying library materials; supporting the interlibrary loan unit; assisting with opening, closing, and other building operations; and helping to plan and implement library events. Required Qualifications

Customer service experience. Excellent customer service skills. Demonstrated reliability and flexibility in working a schedule. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills. Skill in using Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications:

Library circulation experience. Building or store opening/closing experience. Experience working with audiovisual equipment such as still cameras, video cameras, and tripods. Shelving and interlibrary loan experience. Experience planning, marketing, and implementing library events.
