Job description

Operation AnalystIntroduction:

The Operation Analyst will be responsible for supporting the VPP Department and VPP Domain as related to system and project related functions, production support, supporting initiatives, and driving efficiencies for VPP sales, management, and administration processes. This role will ensure day-to-day operations are supported within VPP Department and Domain.

Responsibilities:
  • Act as lead point of contact for day-to-day operations within VPP Department and VPP Domain
  • Manage, track and analyze cases from intake through resolution
  • Partner with Application Management Support on incident and problem management processes
  • Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to increase efficiency
  • Analyze recurring field questions and issue trends
  • Act as SME for projects related to VPP Domain system enhancements
  • Assist with gathering, writing, and revising business user stories/system requirements
  • Manage user stories in Jira system
  • Configure product, plan, and pricing changes in the system
  • Assist with developing and executing test scenarios
  • Manage invoice and billing process
  • Provide support to the VPP Reinsurance Team with wire transfers
  • Provide operational perspective and knowledge in the development of system applications
  • Create and maintain system process maps and SOPs
  • Use methodologies to develop and implement process improvements
  • Create/revise/communicate training materials related to projects
  • Create/revise/post FSBs as requested
  • Special projects as assigned
Requirements:
Qualifications/ What you bring (Must Haves) - Highlight Top 3-5 skills:
  • 4-year college degree (BA or BS)
  • 5-7 or more years of relevant work experience in technology operations
  • Working knowledge of technology products, processes, and workflows
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Jira or similar case and workflow management tools
  • Aptitude for business system configuration
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
