HR Information and Data Analyst Specialist, Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

The North America Valmet People & Culture team, People Operations, is looking for an energetic, detail oriented and driven professional who has solid background in administration and maintenance of HR systems, as well as data analytics and reporting.
This role reports to the North America People Operations Manager, responsible for people processes across and data integrity in the US and Canada.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's HRIS, ensuring data accuracy, system reliability, and reporting consistency. The role is key in providing essential support to the HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT, on HR system related topics.
Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee system configuration updates, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, manage integrations, and coordinate upgrades and user acceptance testing.
  • Develop and maintain HR reporting and analytics on key people metrics
  • Support compliance requirements, and deliver insights that strengthen data driven HR decision making.
  • Serve as the first line of support for HRIS users, offering training, developing job aids, and creating standard operating procedures.
  • Maintains strict data governance and security standards, oversees access controls, and supports internal and external audits.
  • May support People Operations team with other internal system, process and data needs (i.e., process flows on systems, people processes, etc.).

This position is located at our North America headquarters in Norcross, Georgia. It is a hybrid role three days in office.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, information systems, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in HR specialist/ HRIS role in a global organization.
  • Hands-on experience with platforms such as Workday, ADP EV6, and time & attendance systems
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, data governance, and system security.
  • Proficiency in HR reporting and analytics tools, including Workday Reporting and Excel
  • Ability to troubleshoot system issues and perform configuration updates
  • High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and attention to detail
  • Experience with project management and continuous improvement tools is a plus (i.e., six sigma, etc.)
  • Proficient in HRIS platforms, Microsoft Office Suite (Solid/advance Excel and Power Point required).
  • Ability to manage complexity, challenge status quo and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong analytical, organization, and execution skills (experience with people analytics is a plus)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to train and support system end users
