Summary
The Manager - Facility position is responsible for overseeing sustainable facility operation, managing GLOVIS America's real estate portfolio and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR). The role ensures efficient building operations, energy optimization, and regulatory compliance. This position will collaborate with various internal departments and external stakeholders, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective management of all real estate assets. The position will plan and execute CSR program and also manage company sponsored events.
Responsibilities
  • Sustainable Facility Operation
    • Oversee day-to-day facility operations (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire systems, civil)
    • Manage preventive and predictive maintenance programs
    • Supervise facility vendors and AMC contracts
    • Ensure statutory compliance (fire safety, pollution control, building codes, labor laws)
    • Manage housekeeping, security, landscaping, and cafeteria operations
    • Handle space planning and infrastructure upgrades
    • Lead emergency response and business continuity planning
    • Optimize facility operating costs and annual
    • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with ESG goals
    • Monitor and reduce energy consumption, water usage, and carbon footprint
    • Lead waste management, recycling, and circular economy programs
    • Ensure environmental compliance with local and national regulations
    • Drive employee engagement programs on environmental awareness
    • Develop and implement sustainability initiatives aligned with ESG goals
  • Property Acquisition/Portfolio Management
    • Assist in managing the company's real estate portfolio, including both owned and leased properties. Monitor performance and ensure alignment with corporate objectives
    • Assist in the evaluation, negotiation, and execution of property acquisitions, sales, or lease transactions. Prepare reports and presentations to support decision-making
  • Project Coordination
    • Collaborate on the planning and execution of real estate projects, including renovations, relocations, and construction
    • Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Manage CSR program
    • Annual plan/budget
    • Company Event plan/budget
  • Stakeholder Collaboration
    • Work closely with internal teams (e.g., legal, finance, operations) and external parties (e.g., brokers, landlords, attorneys) to facilitate smooth real estate operations
    • Other duties as assigned

Compensation Range
$101,000 - $113,000 annually (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
