About the Role
Shamrock Trading Corporation and RTS Insurance Solutions Inc. are looking for an Associate Producer to join our dynamic Commercial Truck Insurance team. The Associate Producer will be responsible for quoting, binding, and managing 1-2 truck accounts (new and renewal business), generating new business through outbound prospecting, and supporting field producers with ancillary coverages. The ideal candidate will have a sales background, exceptional relationship-building skills, the drive to meet and exceed sales targets and a proactive commitment to staying informed on industry trends, emerging risks and competitive offerings to provide clients with the most relevant advice and services.
What You'll Do
  • Quote, present, and bind new and renewal 1-2 truck commercial auto accounts
  • Generate new business through outbound prospecting, referrals, and inbound leads
  • Cross-sell additional solutions, including Non-Trucking Liability & Physical Damage, Workers' Compensation (where applicable), Ancillary coverages & other business units (Fuel, Factoring, Equipment Finance)
  • Serve as primary contact for small fleet accounts, handling service inquiries and renewals
  • Ensure accurate coverage placement aligned with client needs
  • Maintain strong relationships through timely communication and follow-up
  • Assist producers with ancillary coverage quoting and submissions
  • Prepare and submit applications to carriers for small fleet accounts
  • Ensure accuracy in coverage, limits, and endorsements prior to binding
  • Document all activity and maintain compliance within agency CRM systems
  • Maintain consistent daily outbound activity and pipeline development
  • Demonstrate strong close ratios on inbound and referred opportunities
  • Uphold high standards in underwriting accuracy and documentation
  • Communicate professionally with clients, teammates, and carrier partners

What You'll Bring
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales, insurance or business development
  • Active state insurance producer license (or ability to obtain quickly)
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain coverage clearly and confidently
  • Comfortable with high-volume calls, prospecting, and closing
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Self-motivated, goal-driven, and eager to grow into a full Producer role
  • Experience in commercial trucking insurance is a plus
