Job Description

The Network Development Manager's role is an exciting and highly visible internal and external position responsible for collaborating with the National Director of Network Management and Chief Product Officer in developing, implementing, and maintaining WellBe's strategic provider relationships. The Network Development Manager will assist in supporting all activities to develop this new and innovative network of providers. The Network Development Manager plays a critical role in:

  • Aligning, implementing, and executing on WellBe's strategic provider partnership strategy to drive provider and patient engagement
  • Building, developing, and maintaining key business relationships with assigned complex provider's (Health Systems, IPA's, ACO's, hospitals, etc.)
  • Acting as the dedicated liaison and escalation resource between WellBe and assigned providers
  • Advocating and implementing continuous improvement and simplification initiatives for provider partnership strategy in order to improve the overall provider and member experience
  • Contributing to a high performing Network Development team by surpassing goals, fostering relationships, and driving provider engagement for the organization
  • Serve as the leader, manager, and mentor to direct reports
  • Completing other duties as assigned

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Must have great interpersonal skills, presentation skills, and excellent verbal and written communication
  • Experience in presenting to executives, healthcare administrators, providers, and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain durable and complex strategic relationships with providers and facilities
  • Experience working in an autonomous environment with a demonstrated ability to organize, take initiative, lead, and follow-up with minimal supervision
  • Ability to think, work independently, and make decisions, while adhering to company standards and guidelines
  • Experience in building operations from the ground-up
  • Experience working in a fast-paced dynamic growth environment with conflicting priorities while being persistent in accomplishing goals and self-motivated
Job Requirements

Educational Requirements/Relevant Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within Network Development, Network Management, Payer & Provider Relations, Business Development, Medical Device Sales, or Pharmaceutical Sales roles
  • Knowledge of different value-based care models, preferred
  • Knowledge of health plan and provider operations, required

Pay Transparency

$90,000 - $125,000 based on experience

Willingness to travel throught Atlanta, GA Metro 50% of the week

Supervisory Responsibility: This role will start off as an individual contributor role and quickly become a leader with supervising responsibilities.

Travel requirements: Travel may be required up to 50% locally or nationally

Work Conditions: Ability to lift up to 20lbs.  Moving lifting or transferring of patients may involve lifting of up to 50lbs as well as assist with weights of more than 50lbs.
