About this Position

This position will supervise prospects with Oklahoma State University Athletic Department units to help in making decisions for OSU football recruiting by working closely with the Executive Director of Player Personnel and Director of On Campus Recruiting. This position will be required to be a resident expert on all recruiting software systems and for training the football staff to use such systems. Develop, implement and manage facets of the football recruiting department as they relate to academics and eligibility as well as assisting with recruiting expense organization. This position will be responsible for the collection and analysis of data on potential student athletes which includes the NCAA video legislation, which allows the on-campus evaluation of video and on-campus selection of prospective student athletes using prospect video from various recruiting services. Responsible for the accuracy of the information collected from the OSU Institutional Database - ACS as well as responsible for creation of reports to make final decisions on potential student athletes to be given to position coaches and Head Coach as needed. The position will also help manage all aspects of travel for the football coaches from start to finish as well as recruiting documentation for the program. Coordinate with Football coaches with home and special events preparation. Verbal and written communications with OSU administrators, faculty, staff, students and the general public in order to plan, implement and complete various administrative functions.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's (degree must be conferred on or before agreed upon start date)
  • One year of football recruiting experience and/or administrative experience

Skills, Proficiencies, and/or Knowledge:

Ability to interpret, understand and implement various policies, procedures and regulations as they pertain to major responsibilities. Interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks. Excellent management and organizational skills. Proficiency with various computer applications. Thorough Knowledge of Football Recruiting. Be familiarized and compliant with NCAA and Big XII rules. Ability to communicate and organize schedules. Ability to stay up to date with recruiting current events and keep coaches informed.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's
  • NCAA Division I A or NFL experience
