Job Description
Overview
The UKG Pro (UltiPro) Payroll & Workforce Management Administrator is responsible for the administration, maintenance, and support of payroll, timekeeping, attendance, scheduling, and workforce management systems. This role ensures accurate payroll processing, system configuration, data integrity, compliance with company policies and labor regulations, and provides support to employees and managers regarding payroll and workforce management functions.
Responsibilities
  • Administer and maintain UKG Pro (UltiPro) Payroll and Workforce Management modules.
  • Process payroll accurately and ensure timely payroll completion.
  • Monitor employee timecards, attendance records, leave balances, and scheduling data.
  • Troubleshoot payroll, timekeeping, scheduling, and timeclock system-related issues.
  • Assist in the configure earnings, deductions, accruals, pay rules, and labor allocations.
  • Audit payroll and workforce data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Generate payroll, labor, attendance, and management reports.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and implementation of new functionality.
  • Train managers and employees on UKG Pro functions and self-service tools.
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Partner with HR, Benefits, Accounting and Operations teams to resolve employee-related issues.
  • Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 processing and audits.
  • Manage security roles, workflows, and user access permissions.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2-5 years of payroll and/or workforce management experience.
  • Hands-on experience with UKG Pro (UltiPro), UKG Workforce Management, Kronos, or similar HRIS systems.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, wage and hour regulations, and timekeeping practices.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with payroll tax processing and compliance.
  • Knowledge of workforce scheduling, labor management, and attendance tracking.
  • Experience supporting system integrations and data interfaces.
