About the Position:

The Training Coordinator supports company mission readiness by planning, organizing, and managing all training activities across technical, operational, safety, security and compliance disciplines. This role ensures employees, technicians, operators, and mission teams receive the knowledge, certifications, and skills required to support commercial spaceflight operations in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities:

Compliance & Quality Training Management

  • Ensure mandatory training is delivered, sufficiently documented, and in a reportable format.
  • Maintain accurate records of employee certifications and regulatory requirements (ISO, ITAR/EAR, OSHA, etc.).
  • Manage maintain, and grow the training committee as needed for company growth.
  • Coordinate with internal SME teams to update training based on policy changes, audits, or emerging risks.

Training Program Development & Management

  • Develop, maintain, and manage a comprehensive corporate training program enabling mission execution and business velocity.
  • Coordinate with IT, safety, quality, HR, security, engineering and program managers to identify required training modules.
  • Schedule recurring and specific training (e.g., export control, safety, emergency response, IT security, and program or department specific requirements).
  • Manage onboarding training paths for new hires in both technical and nontechnical roles.

Logistics & Administration

  • Maintain training calendars, rosters, and completion tracking.
  • Organize training sessions, facilities, virtual environments, and required equipment.
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS) content and user assignments.
  • Support internal and 3rd party audits and quality management system requirements by providing training documentation.

Continuous Improvement

  • Evaluate training program effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance indicators.
  • Recommend curriculum improvements, new course development, or enhanced delivery methods (simulations, e-learning, workshops).
  • Benchmark industry best practices related to aerospace training and mission preparation.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Employee Engagement, Organizational Development, Human Resources, Employee Experience, or a related people-focused function. 
  • Bachelor's degree in Quality, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Communications, Education, Psychology, or related fields.
  • Experience in training coordination, learning/program management, or operations support in a technical or regulated industry.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent training cycles.
  • Experience working cross functionally with engineering, security, safety, and HR teams.

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, commercial space, or a similar technical domain.
  • Familiarity with ITAR, EAR, CUI, and export controlled training environments.
  • Experience in maintaining and implementing AS9100/ISO9001 standards 
  • Experience with LMS platforms, simulation based training, or mission operations support.
