Job description

Security Training Manager (Experience Required) Annual Salary $108,000 | Culver City, CA

DAILY: 

  • Oversee the MSC contract requirements, training and development being followed.
  • Forecast and Implementation of the Training Program.
  • Develop and Implement site specific security training
  • Ensure Training Manager is facilitating ongoing MSC/Site Specific Trainin to all personnel.
  • Communicate and Keep Apprised, Account Manager.
  • Prepare all pertinent information for shift briefings, as it pertains to site operations.
  • Monitor, update, and review all MSC/client-specific processes performed by the security operations center. 
  • Manager of overall personnel.
  • Objectively review/approve/rescind disciplinary action on a case-by-case basis.
  • Oversee the addressing of any issues and provide feedback to ensure that the needs of the Client SEC-OPS team are heard and are being met.
  • Oversee the management and development of operation team members. 
  • Oversee officer area upkeep; coordinate with all who share space to ensure that the office has a professional look and is kept organized and free of clutter and that items are being properly used. 
  • Oversee and assist with TrackTik management.
  • Oversee and assist in ensuring the minimization of NBOT at Client  Accounts.
  • Complete or coordinate tasks assigned by the account manager. 

WEEKLY: 

  • Create and present training for the guard force and specialty positions. 
  • Prepare briefing training topic presentations. 
  • Oversee the management of MSC employee pay rates.
  • Oversee NBOT% for Client Accounts.
  • Oversee the turnover ratio % of Client accounts.
  • Oversee the management of all personnel.
  • Maintain frequent and positive or accountable contact with subordinate staff. 
  • Conduct or coordinate employee separations.
  • Conduct or coordinate employee counseling.
  • Conduct or coordinate the maintaining of Client business assigned.
  • Conduct or coordinate operations of shared drives. 

MONTHLY

  • Oversee and record training metrics.
  • Prepare and present security officer and specialty in-service training presentations.
  • Monthly syncs with the client with regard to Training/Monthly/Quarterly business review.
  • Arrange state of the branch meetings with on site Leadership/Officers for further build cooperation and lend support to site leadership/officers. 
  • Audit the functionality of all MSC required systems. 
  • Coordinate and assist with ERP'S/SOP'S safety plans/drills. 
  • Oversee remedial trainings. 
  • Oversee the delivery of training content.
  • Update SOP'S, ERP'S, Appendix, Post Orders as needed.

  • Forecast and implementation of the training program (existing and new deliverables).
  • Interact with all guests (clients, employees, and guests) in a professional demeanor.
  • Foster client relationships through continuous communication and support.
  • Develop and implement site-specific security policies to successfully execute the contract.
  • Ensure officers are performing all assigned duties, including but not limited to time sheets, daily logs, activity and incident reports.
  • Review and verify all reports and logs for accuracy.
  • Address and rectify all employee relations and payroll concerns in a timely manner.
  • Recruit, hire, and train officers to ensure operational performance and coverage is met.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment).
  • Utilize approved security equipment (CCTV, radios, computers/tablets, etc.).
  • Effectively communicate all pertinent information to the team in a timely manner.
  • Manage security personnel, including but not limited to scheduling, counseling, and/or disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance (uniform and equipment).
  • Other duties to be determined by management.
