Description
We are searching for a seasoned Director to lead our state-of-the-art Security Training Center. The successful candidate will spearhead the center's strategic direction, ensuring the delivery of top-tier security training programs while fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Responsibilities:
  • Define and drive the strategic direction of the Security Training Center.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of comprehensive security training curricula.
  • Manage a team of trainers, ensuring their continuous development and the highest training delivery standards.
  • Monitor industry trends and advancements, integrating new techniques and technologies into training programs.
  • Collaborate with security agencies, industry experts, and stakeholders to enhance training offerings.
  • Ensure the center's compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Promote the center's services, positioning it as a leader in security training.
  • Evaluate training outcomes, ensuring that programs meet organizational goals and needs.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with security equipment manufacturers, vendors, and other relevant entities.
  • Provide direct support to our GCX Site located in Annapolis Junction, MD as specifically required to develop and/or review SOPs associated with our armed guard work on that site
  • Assist you in developing, reviewing, and publishing required policies and SOPs associated with our AGC security program. In the long run - want to move to a CenCore Security Operations Manual (SOM) that lays out (in detail) how we conduct security (armed and unarmed) security

Requirements
  • U.S. Citizenship required; must provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in security operations or a related field, with a significant portion in a leadership role.
  • Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and training.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current security trends, technologies, and best practices.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration capabilities.
  • Relevant certifications in security (e.g., CPP, PSP, CISSP) are highly regarded.
