JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a local Project Scheduler with a min. of 5 years of hands-on experience using MS-Project to develop large schedules for industrial tooling installations.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Project, including the ability to create and modify Large MS Schedules
  • Work closely with PMs, key stakeholders, engineers, and subcontractors to collect project timelines, key dates, updates, and changes.
  • Integrate subcontractors' schedules into Master Schedules
  • Develop and maintain Large Construction project schedules using MS Project
  • As the MS Project subject Matter Expert, provide technical support to other team members
  • Gain Project information through PMโ€™s, Subs, Project documents, reporting data, and observations of construction & installation.
  • Managing, storing, updating, and disseminating collected information to key parties
  • Support daily and weekly Project meetings onsite or remotely using MS Teams or any other means
  • Obtain timely information from key team members
  • Implement subcontractor activities into master schedules
  • Updating and reporting the status of projects to the project teams and customer
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelorโ€™s in construction management or Engineering is desired but not required
  • Min 5 years of developing MS Project Schedules for Construction, Automotive, or Manufacturing experience
  • Must have excellent communication skills, ability to work with all levels of the organization, client, and subs
  • Experience with schedule building (Templates and from Scratch), importing other schedules into the main schedule, working with multiple schedules, and knowledge of critical path theory
  • General knowledge of schedule logic, precedence, and sequencing
  • Identify & analyze critical path activities
  • Travel is not required for this position
  • No relocation funds are available for this position. We prefer a local candidate who can start the job immediately
  • Currently, the position work schedule will be 5 days on-site in the facility in Auburn Hills
  • No Visa sponsorship is available
