  • Role Overview:
    The Construction Project Scheduler is responsible for supporting the Project Management teams in developing, maintaining, and reporting upon detailed project schedules. This position ensures master project schedule details are accurate, consistent, and monitored throughout the project life cycle. This role supports auditing and ensuring Lookahead schedules are implemented and continuously updated for each project.
    Key Responsibilities:
    • Collaborate with Preconstruction, Development, and Project Management to develop and maintain detailed construction project schedules using MS Project.
    • Integrate multiple schedules into a master project schedule, including baseline, status, and monitoring.
    • Develop and maintain summary-level schedule reports, such as Gantt charts, milestone charts, and other tools to support critical path analysis.
    • Collaborate with project teams to gather and analyze information and prepare reports on the progress of projects.
    • Support the Project Management team in planning, tracking, analysis, and reporting.
    • Work with Project Management to standardize the project scheduling approach to facilitate accuracy in project execution and reporting.
    • Troubleshoot and monitor potential scheduling problems.
    • Facilitate and participate in weekly schedule reviews.
    • Serve as subject matter expert training Field Operations and Project Management staff to learn or increase their skills in project scheduling.
    • Maintain positive relationships with all Garrett Companies personnel.
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Degree from an accredited university with a focus in Construction, Engineering, or a relevant field of study.
    • Construction project management experience.
    • Experience using MS Project or Primavera P6 and Microsoft Excel.
    • Expertise using MS Project to manage an integrated master schedule and supporting project schedules.
    • Ability to operate independently and effectively report in written and verbal formats.
    • Ability to build consensus, manage details, and anticipate issues.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects of schedule enforcement and development.
    • Strong organizational, analytical, and writing skills.
