Overview of position:
We are looking for an Information Technology Project Manager, Senior to work in Indianapolis, IN.
An active Secret a United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Project Management Plan (PMP) including Communication Plan, HR Plan, Quality Control Plan, Risk Management Plan, and Work Breakdown Structure (WBS)
  • Provide project management support for CCE infrastructure improvement projects
  • Prepare and deliver Monthly Status Reports to COR
  • Establish and maintain change management processes achieving 98% Configuration Item (CI) identification
  • Track and report performance metrics achieving 100% reporting compliance
  • Conduct In Progress Reviews and Weekly Status Updates
  • Coordinate with government team members to ensure coverage and equal balance of work
  • Manage project schedules, ensuring projects meet cost, schedule, and scope objectives
  • Fill vacancies within 30 days of contracted employee departure

Experience/Skills:
  • 8+ years IT project management experience in DoD/federal environment
  • Proven experience developing PMPs per PMBOK methodology
  • Experience managing IT infrastructure projects in enterprise environments
  • Demonstrated ability managing projects across NIPRNet, SIPRNet, and JWICS enclaves
  • Experience with DFASNow/ITSM ticketing systems
  • Proficiency in WBS development and schedule management
  • Experience preparing executive-level status reports and briefings
  • Knowledge of DoD change management and configuration control processes
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) compliance projects

Preferred Qualifications:
  • PMP certification (upgrade path from Project+/CAPM)
  • DFAS or DoD financial systems project experience
  • Experience with Azure cloud migration projects
  • Familiarity with DFAS CCE infrastructure
  • Prior Booz Allen Hamilton or DFAS incumbent experience
  • Experience with Zero Trust Network Architecture implementation projects
  • ITIL certification

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field

Certifications:
  • CompTIA Project+ or PMI CAPM, and
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent

Clearance:
  • Active Secret clearance is required.
  • Must be a United States Citizen and pass a background check.
  • Maintain applicable security clearance(s) at the level required by the client and/or applicable certification(s) as requested by FEDITC and/or required by FEDITC'S Client(s)/Customer(s)/Prime contractor(s).
