Location: Fairmont, WV


At Middletown Homes, our CDL Drivers are the backbone of our modular home projects, hauling oversized loads, operating equipment, and working hands-on at job sites to set homes in place. If you're a Class A CDL driver who doesn't mind rolling up your sleeves, this is the career move for you.

This unique position blends professional driving with hands-on construction support. You'll transport modular home sections and equipment to job sites, then help set up and install the homes with our construction team.


Responsibilities

  • Safely haul modular/HUD home sections, oversized loads, and equipment to job sites.
  • Assist in setting up and installing homes on-site.
  • Maintain quality and safety standards during transport and installation.
  • Operate heavy equipment (bulldozers, excavators, skid steers) when needed; preferred but not required.
  • Support site crews with labor tasks as needed.


Qualifications

  • Must meet DOT age requirements (21+) for CDL drivers.
  • Valid Class A CDL license and clean driving record (required).
  • Minimum 3 years of CDL driving experience (required).
  • Must pass a post-offer drug screening (required).
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in varied conditions.
  • Positive attitude, team player, and willingness to assist on-site.
  • Equipment operation experience is strongly preferred.
  • Willingness to travel and stay out of town occasionally (company covers lodging and per diem).
