Job description

Sr. Director, Product - Menu

Ready to build what’s next with one of the world’s most iconic brands?

Why Join Subway?

At Subway, we are not standing still. We are building.

This is a business focused on what matters most: growing franchisee profitability, strengthening our brand and creating long-term value. The people who thrive here are the ones who want to make a real impact.

You will not just do the work. You will shape it.

We move fast. We think like owners. We make decisions that matter. We hold ourselves to a high standard because what we do directly impacts thousands of franchisees around the world.

If you bring energy, accountability and a bias for action, you will fit right in.

We take the work seriously, but we also know the best results come from teams that support each other, celebrate wins and show up ready to build something better every day.

This is your chance to be part of what’s next.

About the Role:

Menu at a global QSR is not a spreadsheet — it's a living, multi-dimensional product. Thousands of franchise operators, dozens of markets, real-time competitor pricing, limited-time offers, digital channels, and third-party delivery platforms all intersect on a surface that has to be both flexible and bulletproof. We're looking for a Senior Director of Product to own this end-to-end.

You'll lead the strategy and execution for Menu Management — including our Menu Data Services, AI-driven automation of menu offerings, and the tools that make it possible for operators to price, promote, and update their menus at scale. This is a high-visibility, high-impact role at the intersection of product, engineering, marketing, and operations.

What You’ll Own

  • Product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Menu Management across franchise and corporate channels
  • Menu availability and pricing systems — treating each restaurant as its own entity while operating at global scale
  • Menu Data Services: offer creation, new and internal offer pipelines, contractor team operations
  • AI automation of menu workflows — identifying and shipping intelligent automation opportunities
  • Cross-functional alignment with Digital, 3PD, Marketing, PIM, and Engineering/Design teams
  • People leadership — building, mentoring, and scaling a product and contractor team

What We’re Looking For

  • Product mindset — you think in systems, outcomes, and user value, not features and tickets
  • Proven people management — you've led product teams and know how to balance strategic leadership with hands-on project execution
  • Startup or high-tech background — you move fast, make decisions with incomplete information, and figure things out
  • AI-native — you use AI tools in your daily work and see automation as an opportunity, not a threat
  • Strong communicator and collaborator — you influence without authority and thrive in cross-functional environments
  • QSR experience is not required — a sharp product mind travels

Nice to Have

  • Experience in restaurant technology / QSR / franchise environments.

Accountability / Scope

  • People Management: Yes
  • Direct Reports: Multiple

Travel Requirements

Up to 15% (as business needs require).

What do we offer?

  • Insurance Plans (Medical, Life)
  • Pension/401K/RSP (country specific)
  • Competitive Bonus
  • Mobility Allowance
  • Tuition Reimbursement
  • Company Holidays
  • Volunteering time
  • And More…..
