Job description: Kitchen Manager—Mesa, AZ; Phoenix, AZ.


Requirements:

  • Demonstrates ability to safely prepare all prepped and menu items by following company procedures, recipes, menu specifications and completes final plate check to ensure proper presentation.
  • Directs heart of house team members in properly preparing recipes. Validates appropriate menu specifications are followed and productivity standards are met.
  • Assists with managing food costs by properly ordering, receiving, and storing all food products weekly according to specifications and guidelines. Maintains food product inventory levels in accordance with established company guidelines.
  • Completes opening and/or closing duties. Conducts daily checklist and uses appropriate planner on each shift.
  • Knowledge of service standards.
  • Serve Safe Certified.


Qualifications:

  • Restaurant experience.
  • Able to delegate tasks and maintain speed of service.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Possess a solid understanding of operating and management techniques as they apply to the restaurant industry.
  • Serve Safe Food and/or Serve Safe Alcohol Certification is also a plus
