Food Service Management Company specializing in School Food Service/ Child Nutrition is seeking a Corporate Chef to be part of its growing management Team, K-12 Experience preferred. 

Must be willing to travel throughout NJ, PA.

Train head chefs and other kitchen positions. Stay updated on trends in the restaurant and food service industry to maintain a successful business.

Corporate chefs are responsible for culinary creativity and business management, so they need a set of skills that can help them cater to both of these areas. Here are some essential skills for corporate chefs to have.

Corporate chefs need to be able to lead others. Depending on the establishment they work for, they could oversee one School District with 50 employees or a School District with 300 employees.

This requires good management tactics to maintain high standards and enforce uniform food presentations throughout the establishment.

Decision making is an essential skill for corporate chefs because their role requires them to assess elements like industry trends.

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Overseeing culinary management.
  • Planning and creating menus for corporate events, meetings, and gatherings.
  • Menu creation, recipe development, managing kitchen staff, monitoring food quality and safety, and ensuring adherence to budgetary constraints.
