Job description

Job Title: Medical Call Center Representative
Company: Living Water Clinic-Clinica Agua Viva
Location: Lindsay, California
Position Overview:
We are seeking a bilingual Medical Call Center Representative, proficient in both Spanish and
English. The ideal candidate is committed to providing exceptional customer service, has
excellent communication, and has the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.

Summary of Responsibilities:
  • Answer incoming calls on a multi-line phone system, demonstrating excellent customer
  • service.
  • Schedule appointments according to established guidelines, ensuring no patient is
  • turned away. Use all resources to secure an appointment for each patient.
  • Educate patients on the services provided by LWC, and advise them on necessary
  • materials to bring to appointments, including notification of any co-pays due.
  • Follow up with patients and conduct outreach by calling patients on care gaps.
  • Register patients for appointments, obtaining and updating insurance and demographic
  • information.
  • Report any potential patient concerns or complaints immediately to a supervisor.
  • Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of financial programs, registration, and insurance
  • verification.
  • Route calls to the appropriate department or health center.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and privacy (HIPAA compliant)
  • Handle basic computer tasks and utilize our EMR system.

Education:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent. Associates Degree preferred.
Prior Experience:
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in customer service and/or call center environment.
  • Knowledge in scheduling, and previous medical setting experience is preferred.
Skills:
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is required.
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Customer-service oriented with excellent telephone etiquette.
  • Excellent listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and dependability.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
  • Intermediate computer skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
