What You'll Do
  • Regularly holds safety, quality, customer feedback and financial information meetings with maintenance team members
  • Reviews safety requirements and points out potential hazards that may exist
  • Reviews available planned job packages for completeness and correctness
  • Confirms the technician knows what, where, how, why, and when for each job providing the opportunity for clarification
  • Makes the tactical decisions necessary: staying as close to schedule as possible
  • Assures accurate distribution of time and materials to specific jobs together with good feedback including proper work order entries
  • Assures that any necessary corrective work orders stemming from inspections and other sources have been initiated
  • Provide direct supervision in the execution of work being performed in your area of responsibility
  • Coordinate all special projects and upgrades in assigned areas
What You'll Need
  • Minimum 5 years maintenance experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Experience with Preventative/Planned Maintenance processes and procedures and ability to develop procedures and schedules preferred
  • Working knowledge of computers and computer software
  • Certified Maintenance and Reliability Profession (CMRP) certification preferred
  • Trained and knowledgeable in safe work practices as well and OSHA guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented, cost oriented, organized, and analytical
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering principles and experience with the following: Machine and component assembly, Industrial hydraulics/pneumatics, Welding and fitting, Lubrication techniques and applications, and Material handling equipment
  • Experience working with and maintaining hydraulic equipment, mechanical equipment, pneumatic equipment, and cooling systems
  • Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and mechanical schematics
Your Education
  • College, technical trade, and/or military training/education preferred
