Mechanical Superintendent โ€“ Data Center Construction

Phoenix, Arizona

$140,000โ€“$150,000 + Bonus + Comprehensive Benefits


Join One of Arizona's Largest Mission Critical Construction Projects


Preston Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Superintendent to join a leading mechanical contractor on a major hyperscale data center development in the Phoenix market.

This is an opportunity to play a key leadership role on a 40MW, 250,000 sq. ft. data center, delivering a $35Mโ€“$40M mechanical scope on one of the region's most significant mission critical construction projects.


The project is scheduled to run through to May 2028, providing excellent long-term stability while working on cutting-edge infrastructure supporting the future of digital technology.


The Opportunity:


As Mechanical Superintendent, you'll be responsible for leading all on-site mechanical construction activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

You'll work closely with project management, field leadership and trade partners to drive productivity, maintain programme milestones and oversee the successful installation of complex mechanical systems.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead day-to-day mechanical field operations
  • Manage foremen, subcontractors and field personnel
  • Drive site safety, quality and productivity
  • Coordinate installation sequencing and work planning
  • Monitor project schedules and manpower requirements
  • Resolve field issues and maintain programme milestones
  • Work collaboratively with project management and other trades
  • Support commissioning and project close-out
