About the Role

Yingst Building Group is seeking a skilled and dependable Remodeling Carpenter to join our remodeling team based in Harrisburg, PA. This position plays a critical role in delivering high-quality remodeling projects while maintaining company craftsmanship standards, project schedules, and jobsite professionalism.

The Remodeling Carpenter works closely with the Remodeling Superintendent and other team members to complete residential remodeling projects safely, efficiently, and with attention to detail.

What You’ll Do

Responsibilities may include:

  • Demolition and jobsite preparation
  • Framing and structural carpentry
  • Drywall installation and repairs
  • Cabinet installation
  • Window and door framing and installation
  • Interior and exterior trim work
  • Interior and exterior door installation
  • Exterior work as needed
  • Light concrete work
  • Basic plumbing and electrical tasks
  • Luxury vinyl plank (LVT) flooring installation
  • Ceramic tile installation
  • Reading and following construction drawings, scopes of work, and work orders
  • Accurately measuring, cutting, and assembling materials with minimal waste
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment
  • Protecting finished surfaces and homeowner property
  • Communicating project progress, delays, and material needs to the Remodeling Superintendent
  • Properly using, maintaining, and storing tools and equipment
  • Following all company safety procedures and jobsite expectations
  • Supporting other duties as assigned
