At Hood Container Corporation, we’re seeking a Corrugator Superintendent to provide dynamic leadership over our corrugated operations at our Houston, TX facility. As we continue to grow, we're looking for a results-driven leader to join our mission of operational excellence, innovation, and people development.


???? Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day leadership of all plant operations: safety, quality, production, maintenance, shipping & receiving
  • Champion Hood’s “One Hood” integration initiative by collaborating across departments and locations
  • Implement and execute operational strategies to meet company goals in safety, quality, productivity, and cost
  • Identify continuous improvement opportunities across production processes, personnel, and safety practices
  • Oversee work orders and scheduling to ensure efficient production and on-time delivery
  • Respond to challenges in a fast-paced environment with agility and effective problem-solving
  • Foster and enforce a safety-first culture throughout the plant
  • Participate in daily management meetings to track and report performance metrics

???? Qualifications:
  • 5+ years in manufacturing with increasing responsibilities, including 3+ years in a leadership role
  • Corrugated or converting operations experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage multi-shift operations (200+ employees preferred)
  • Strong understanding of financial and capital management
  • Comfortable using digital tools such as KIWI, Harry Rhodes (HRMS), and Amtech
  • Experience in facilities with ISO/AIB standards preferred
  • Bilingual in English & Spanish a plus
  • Physically able to navigate stairs, conveyors, and handle occasional lifting
