Job description

Business Development Representative | Intown Golf Club | Hybrid / Possible Market Based in an Existing Market

Are you looking to build a meaningful career in high growth hospitality sales where your success is driven by building real connections rather than pushing transactions? At Intown Golf Club (IGC), we are a tech forward, high growth private social club (ranked #24 on the Inc. 5000), and we are reshaping the private club experience. We believe people join clubs because of belonging, community, and connection, not high pressure sales pitches.

As our Business Development Representative (BDR), you are the very first interaction a prospective member has with our brand. If you are a relationship oriented communicator with a passion for hospitality, a background in golf, and an obsession with creating a five star experience from day one, your next chapter starts here.

What You Will Do:

  • First Point of Contact: Respond rapidly, warmly, and professionally to incoming inbound interest across multiple channels, including phone, text, email, chat, and LinkedIn.

  • Qualify & Connect: Conduct discovery conversations to understand prospects' goals (golf, networking, social, family) and share the story of Intown Golf Club.

  • Drive Tour Conversions: Create personalized follow up sequences and schedule prospective members for onsite tours with our Membership Directors.

  • Outbound Growth: Generate new opportunities through targeted outreach to corporate partners, community events, and high affinity golf audiences.

  • CRM & Pipeline Management: Maintain high pipeline accuracy, manage lead flow, and track all daily outreach activity in our CRM.

  • Be a Brand Champion: Represent IGC's core pillars of hospitality, community, elevated design, and member experience in every interaction.

What You Will Bring:

  • Experience: 1–2 years of sales, hospitality, or customer facing experience (required).

  • Industry Knowledge: A background or deep familiarity with the golf industry.

  • Communication & Empathy: A warm, polished, and professional communication style in writing and verbally, with the ability to handle objections with grace.

  • Execution & Ownership: Highly process oriented with strong time management, urgency, and the ability to manage multiple active conversations simultaneously.

  • Growth Mindset: High energy, positive attitude, and a strong desire to grow your career with IGC.

What We Do For You:

  • Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurance plans available.

  • Modern Wellness: 24/7, no-cost Teladoc services covering Mental Health Counseling, Physical Therapy, and Dermatology.

  • Work-Life Balance: Paid Time Off (PTO) and a people-first company culture that values your time and life outside work.

  • Career Growth: Direct pathway into several career paths including Membership Director or Community Manager as we continue to launch new clubs nationally.

  • Perks & Environment: Beautiful private club environments, employee discounts, and the opportunity to leave your fingerprints on a high-growth brand.
