Our technology platform helps clients modernize their operations, increase efficiency, and make better data-driven decisions. As we scale, we're expanding our sales organization with high-performing professionals who know how to close business in a competitive, consultative SaaS environment.
Position Summary
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is a quota-carrying sales professional responsible for moving qualified leads from initial engagement through to closed business. This is not an entry-level role. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of progressive experience selling SaaS solutions, a proven record of hitting or exceeding quotas, and the ability to translate complex technology into clear business value for non-technical decision-makers to State and Federal government decision makers. The SDR will manage qualified opportunities provided by the Business Development Representatives (BDRs), leverage Salesforce to track pipeline, and work directly with leadership to expand market share and accelerate company growth.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
  • Engagequalified leads from BDRs and move them through the full sales cycle toclose.
  • Conductdiscovery meetings to identify business challenges, objectives, anddecision criteria.
  • Presentand demonstrate SaaS solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Buildand maintain a robust sales pipeline within Salesforce, ensuringaccurate forecasting and reporting.
  • Collaboratewith internal solution experts to craft competitive proposals and pricingstrategies.
  • Negotiatecontracts and close deals in alignment with company policies and margintargets.
  • Consistentlymeet or exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
  • Maintaina consultative approach-listening to customers, identifying opportunities,and positioning the right solution.
  • Representthe company with professionalism, enthusiasm, and a commitment to customersuccess.

Qualifications
  • 3-5years of progressive sales experience, ideally in SaaS or technologysolution selling.
  • Provenrecord of consistently meeting or exceeding quota.
  • Experiencemanaging deals through full-cycle CRM systems-Salesforce expertisestrongly preferred.
  • Exceptionalcommunication and presentation skills; able to explain complex solutionsto non-technical audiences.
  • Strongdiscovery, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated,competitive, and driven by measurable success.
  • Bachelor'sdegree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
