Job description

Equifax is where you can power your possible. If you want to achieve your true potential, chart new paths, develop new skills, collaborate with bright minds, and make a meaningful impact, we want to hear from you.
Equifax's US Information Solutions (USIS) business unit is seeking a strategic Account Executive to join our Fintech sales team. The USIS business unit transforms massive consumer and commercial datasets into actionable consumer and commercial risk, identity and fraud, and data-driven marketing insights that create a competitive advantage for our customers and open new opportunities for consumers.
This position is a client-facing, high-touch sales role responsible for revenue generation, customer relationship management, and company engagement with highly complex, strategic Fortune 200 accounts. Operating as both a hunter and a farmer, you will have primary responsibility for the customer and must orchestrate resources efficiently to drive sales and revenue growth across a full solutions portfolio. This role focuses on the Fintech and Payments ecosystem, specifically targeting major players in the payments industry.
What you will do
  • Identify, develop, manage, and close customer opportunities spanning all solutions, balancing the acquisition of new business with the growth of existing strategic accounts.
  • Engage with clients on a consultative basis to learn their business, anticipate needs, and position optimal solutions.
  • Develop strong working relationships with client economic buyers, decision makers, and C-suite influencers.
  • Foster and maintain customer trust while expanding the ways in which the customer relies on the company as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate, influence, and coordinate across a broad internal stakeholder group to align on strategy, develop key work streams, and drive execution against those plans to drive revenue growth.
  • Lead account strategy and planning motions with cross-functional teams to align customer business imperatives with our solutions.
  • Define and execute sales strategies that drive profitable growth while delivering meaningful customer value.
  • Manage large and complex cross-functional programs and initiatives to build, activate, and operationalize new capabilities and areas of growth.

What experience you need
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 7-10+ years of experience exceeding sales goals in a strategic account management, business development, or related sales role with Enterprise accounts
  • Experience working with senior-level account employees, including an ability to immediately establish credibility with C-suite executives and build/maintain those relationships
  • Demonstrated track record of exceeding expectations against revenue goals with highly complex, strategic clients and significant deal sizes
  • Strong executive presentation, negotiation, influencing, and communication skills
  • Ability to travel periodically

What could set you apart
  • Strong track record of obtaining quota and committing to pipeline creation
  • Previous experience and deep understanding of the Fintech and Payments industry is a strong plus
  • Masters or advanced degree
  • DaaS (Data as a Service) and/or SaaS sales experience
  • Demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a highly matrix organization, in a fast-paced and dynamic business environment
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively and maintain focus on the goal
