What You'll Do
As Operations Manager, you will lead all manufacturing operations while partnering closely with Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain, Production Control, and Sales to ensure operational performance supports customer commitments, expanding capacity, and company growth.
You will be responsible for:
• Leading all daily manufacturing operations
• Driving safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost improvements
• Coaching Production Supervisors and developing future leaders.
• Building accountability throughout the organization
• Leading Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement initiatives
• Driving Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action effectiveness
• Improving manufacturing flow, capacity, and labor utilization
• Developing meaningful manufacturing KPIs and visual management systems
• Improving First Pass Yield while reducing scrap and rework
• Building standardized work and operational discipline
• Supporting workforce development, cross-training, and succession planning
• Creating a positive, engaged manufacturing culture focused on teamwork and ownership.
What We're Looking For
We are searching for a leader who enjoys improving manufacturing systems just as much as developing people.
Qualifications include:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Operations Management, Business, or related field preferred
• 7-10+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
• Experience leading multiple production departments and supervisors.
• Strong Lean Manufacturing background
• Proven Continuous Improvement success.
• Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action experience
• Strong data analysis and KPI development skills
• ERP and production planning experience
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills
Experience in electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, military, or other high-reliability manufacturing environments is highly preferred.
