Job Description Operations Manager Location: Vandalia, OH Setting/Hours: 100% Onsite trak group is partnering with a stable, growing organization to find an Operations Manager on a direct-hire basis. This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a hands-on operator with steel or industrial metals experience, offering direct visibility to senior leadership and a competitive compensation package. Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day warehouse and production operations across two shifts Manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately 20 employees plus two supervisors Drive culture, accountability, and performance across the operation Oversee staffing, performance management, and discipline Coordinate workflow, scheduling, and production output Identify and implement efficiency and process improvements Track and manage KPIs and operational metrics Ensure safety and regulatory compliance Oversee equipment maintenance and facility organization Support budgeting and capital planning Partner with vendors, customers, and leadership Qualifications: 5+ years of leadership experience in a steel service center, industrial, metals, or manufacturing warehouse environment Proven ability to lead in a fast-paced, hands-on environment Strong accountability mindset with excellent leadership and communication skills Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving ability Comfortable managing across multiple shifts High School Diploma required; Associate's degree preferred Computer proficiency required Ready to take the next step.
