This position is a direct hire opportunity!
Integrity Trade Services is hiring an Operations Manager for our manufacturing client to start immediately starting at $70k/annually DOE! Receive comprehensive benefits through our client upon hire!
Responsibilities:
This role requires a strong background in warehouse operations, including hands-on experience with warehousing processes, blending, packaging, heating, and storage activities. The Operations Manager will also be involved in spill response, hazardous waste handling and shipment, warehouse sanitation, and other environmentally and safety-sensitive functions.
  • Proficient in computer use, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Communicate operational updates and issues to warehouse leadership
  • Coordinate daily schedules for team members and self
  • Monitor environmental, health, and safety compliance
  • Work toward achieving quality and food safety management objectives
  • Participate as an internal auditor for quality and food safety systems
  • Assist in food safety initiatives and team participation
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures
  • Train operational staff, including supervisors, loaders, blenders, and forklift operators
  • Support responses to customer concerns and complaints
  • Prepare corrective and preventive action documentation
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organization
  • Ensure routine inspection and testing of equipment such as forklifts, scales, pumps, and filters
  • Enforce adherence to safety and operational procedures
  • Oversee heating/steaming processes within operations
  • Coordinate railcar movement and scheduling as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness standards in controlled environments to meet regulatory requirements
  • Supervise contractors working within warehouse areas
  • Support maintenance and repair of warehouse infrastructure
  • Conduct routine inspections of warehouse facilities, equipment, and processing areas as required

Schedule/Shift Details: First Shift
  • Overtime as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or 1-2 years of related experience/training, or a comparable combination of education and experience

Required Knowledge and Training
  • Hazard Communication (general awareness)
  • Hazardous Materials (HazMat) training
  • HAZWOPER (minimum 24-hour certification)
  • Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) awareness
  • Quality and food safety standards, including applicable policies and procedures
  • Forklift operation certification
  • Confined space entry awareness
  • Hot work permitting awareness
  • Lockout/Tagout awareness
  • Emergency evacuation procedures
  • Quality and food safety policy awareness
  • ISO quality and food safety procedures awareness
  • ISO 9001 and food safety system internal auditing awareness
