Job description

Title: Enterprise Endpoint Engineer (Intune Experience) Location: Indianapolis, IN 46241 (Onsite) Pay Range: $50/hr - $57/hr (Only local candidates, no relocation) Must have - Intune experience About the Role This is not a traditional, siloed service desk role. We are actively seeking a candidate who is well-versed in troubleshooting and resolving issues within Ms Intune-managed environments, while also operating effectively across desktop support, endpoint management, security compliance, and network-related challenges. You will be expected to move fluidly across technical domains. This means owning problems end-to-end rather than handing them off—while balancing user experience, security requirements, and operational efficiency. This role is in support of a secure and enterprise-scale environment with federally regulated compliance requirements. Enterprise Desktop Administration Build, image, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows workstations and peripherals using gold images and templates Administer Active Directory-sourced user and computer objects and provide continuous compliance oversight using Group Policy controls Procure, track, and keep up-to-date software products and associated licensing Design, implement, and maintain MS Intune endpoint management solutions. Procure and issue desktops with Intune Autopilot zero-touch provisioning Build automation using PowerShell and MS Graph where appropriate Troubleshoot and resolve Intune-related issues, including device configuration, policy application, compliance failures, and software deployment Identify, prioritize, and remediate endpoint vulnerabilities using enterprise management and security tools Navigate and resolve security and compliance-related challenges, including endpoint hardening, policy enforcement, and audit readiness End User Support Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff while maintaining a high level of customer service Troubleshoot Windows operating systems, peripherals, printers, conferencing equipment, and endpoint hardware Diagnose and address network connectivity issues (e.g., access restrictions, firewall rules, DNS, VPN, IP/Port/URL filtering) Demonstrate the flexibility to contribute across endpoint engineering, user support, compliance, and operational initiatives as business priorities evolve Continuously improve endpoint management processes through automation, standardization, and operational excellence Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in information systems or relevant field and 5+ years practical experience in the field Ability to obtain public trust clearance. Ability to self-manage work tasks using M365-based tools Demonstrated and proven ability to independently resolve issues, improve day-to-day operations with self-driven initiatives, and operate with a growth mindset Hands-on experience administering or operating network access controls in the form of IP: Port or URL-based filters Practical experience managing enterprise desktops within an MS Intune managed environment Hands-on experience troubleshooting and administering Windows operating systems in an enterprise environment – ideally including peripheral device management, asset management, and VOIP operations Understanding and practical exposure to regulatory controls, baselines, and security policies within an Azure Entra and Intune-based environment with enterprise desktops and endpoints (CIS benchmarks, STIG, etc) Located near Indianapolis, IN, and is both willing and capable of being on-site daily in support of the mission The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, life insurance, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time, hours of paid vacation time, weeks of paid parental leave, and paid holidays annually – as applicable.
